Until the Second World War (1939), the firm was called Becker & Co and maintained the system
of having its headquarters in Idar. At that time the two brothers were separated as companies, but

owned by Franz Becker ( great grandson of Augusto who had bought the land).
Currently the mines are still in the old Catalan field, and the variety of products grows.
The main products of the company are: Agates and Amethysts.
